These cheesy bean bakes are made from a delicious blend of baked beans in a rich tomato sauce mixed with cheddar cheese, wrapped in pork sausage meat, coated in a light batter and a salt and pepper coating – ready to bake in the oven for a delicious treat.
We know there is the great baked bean debate about which are the best but after intensive testing by our dedicated team we have chosen those made by the experts for over 100 years Heinz.
The sausage meat is such an important part of the Beano that we went to our friends at Campbell Brothers in Midlothian, Scotland to see what they could do for us and they have supplied a perfectly seasoned recipe that complements the beans and cheese.
We put them together using our special technique to get the beans in the middle and give them a coating of batter and salt and pepper crumb to make them extra tasty. Supplied frozen and ready for you to bake. Serve with chips on the side or in a bun but beware of the hot sauce when you bite into them!
